Pljevlja (MINA-BUSINESS) - The completion of the overhaul works at the open pit mine Borovica has enabled the resumption of coal supply to the Pljevlja thermal plant#s depot, Vijesti daily said. Production manager at the Pljevlja Coal Mines Ratomir Stanic said that the coal supplies should resume on Monday and by the end of May around 30,000 tonnes were expected to reach the depot, needed for the resumption of electricity production at the Pljevlja aggregate. Stanic said that of 1.25 million euros needed for the overhaul works, only 25 percent has been paid. "We need 845,000 euros to complete the works without which a continuous production would be impossible," he said.
