Milka Ljumovic, general director of “Crnogorska komercijalna banka” said that more than a million DEM of minimum one-year-old savings were deposited in the bank. Ljumovic confirmed for Montena business that Crnogorska komercijalna banka created cadre and technical conditions for conversion of German marks into Euro. “Payments with Komerz-bank from Frankfurt, our main correspondent is enormous, so the expenses of conversion would be symbolic and mostly related to insurance and taking out of the money,” added Ljumovic. She also said that conversion that would be done in Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka would create expenses of about 100,000 DEM. Conversion would surely get the savings out of the houses, and that would make the programs of card and bankomat introduction operative, said Ljumovic. “I expect that 30-50% of means that would be converted in Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka would remain at the saving accounts. Economic interest should be offered to citizens, since they lost their trust in the banks,” said Ljumovic. Beside credit cards that are to be a priority in plans of the bank for the next year, Ljumovic announced different forms of consumers’ credits that would be offered to the clients of Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka.
