About 200 Montenegrin Companies on Strike, Tomorrow Maybe Even More
Podgorica, (Montena-business) - At the moment, workers from 200 Montenegrin companies are on strike, and new protests are announced by even more workers, said Mr Radule Djukanovic, a vice-secretary of the CITUM, to Montena-business. He said that there was no precise information about the number of strikers, because the situation changes every day. Mr Djukanovic claims that a great number of the companies was in passive strike, which meant that there was no production at them, the workers got no salaries or they were at forced holidays. "The biggest problem is that authorities paid no attention to the workers who protest inside the companies. The only way for the workers to attract publicity is to go out at the streets and block the roads" ended Mr Djukanovic. dc/bd
