Director of the Tourist Organization of Montenegro (TOCG) Predrag Jelusic, said today that this year the number of Czech tourists in Montenegro would be doubled and he justified his expectations with great interest for Montenegrin offer at the fair Holiday World 2002. This Fair, which began in Prague yesterday, gathered 868 exhibitors from 68 states. "According to the official records of the Tourist Organization, about 10,000 Czech tourists visited Montenegro last year, and they realized 76,000 tourist days. Employees in tourism can expect about 20,000 Czechs this year," said Jelusic for Montena-business. He added that optimistic estimations of Montenegrin delegation in Prague were based on significant interest that three greatest Czech tour operators - Fischer, Globtour and Czeddok - expressed for Montenegrin destinations. He said that Montenegro was presented at this fair in 26 very noted catalogues, and added that the sale of accommodation capacities began. "Representatives of tourist companies have quite a lot of meetings with Czech tour operators on details of accommodation and transfer of tourist from the Czech Republic," said Jelusic.
