Republic Commission for realization of Program for continuous stimulation of employment and entrepreneurship decided today to finance 174 projects with 900,000 EUR. The Commission stated that during selection of projects it took care of equal representation, development need and relatively higher participation of programs from municipalities that have been less represented before. Dynamics of financing of approved project that are yet to be financed would depend on return of the money from previously approved programs. The Commission states that collection of due obligations from credit users would be intensified in order to realize the Program successfully. Steelworks - railway - jubilee Steelworks in situation worse than ever The Steelworks in Niksic is in the worst situation than ever before since its foundation, because the state does not protect the interest of black metallurgy, said director of the company, Miodrag Pejovic. On celebration organized for the 55th anniversary of construction of the youth railway Niksic - Podgorica and 50th anniversary of the Steelworks, Pejovic said that he expected faster revitalization of the company on the basis of the agreement on rent that has been signed with the Russian company RussMont Steel Corporation. Director of the Railways of Montenegro, Ranko Medenica, reminded that the railway Niksic - Podgorica has been waiting for service and modernization for more than ten years because of the lack of financial means and difficult economic situation. Medenica announced modernization of the railway traffic in this line and added that it should be done faster than its construction.
