Production in shoes plant in Cetinje Montenegro Modern Shoes, former Kosuta, will probably initiate next week, was announced from the firm MGPL, lessee of MMS. Director of MGPL Luka Vujic said that initiation of production planned for beginning of February had been postponed due to the administrative obstacles, which he did not want to comment on. "We have obtained necessary equipment, and we plan to finish cleaning if till Tuesday and after that, the equipment will be ready for work. We intend to employ new workers but we cannot announce precise data of placing the announcement in newspapers since it also depends on technical problems in administration", said Vukic. By the end of January he announced possibility of eight-month cooperation with Italian firm Filanto that invested approximately 120.000 DM in equipment and building. He also announced possibility on signing the agreement with German Adias.
