Firm #Admiral# from Herceg Novic is not any more to be engaged in transport of passengers ob local routes, was announced by the director Dusanka Vujovic. "Municipality of Herceg Novi is protecting a private transporter at disadvantage of the other and citizens and on the account of quality of public transport", estimated Vujovic reacting to the yesterday#s statement of director of Autosaobracaj Bosko Lucic. Lucic accused Admiral of illegal working and loss of over 600 thousand DM during last three years. She claims that Lucic was major proprietor of Autosaobracaj and due to that fact he had no bigger right then Admiral to carry out the transport. "On the basis of which approvals does Lucic carry out the transport of passengers in public transport when the competition for assigning the routes, thanks to promptness of municipal institutions, has not still been announced", said Vujovic. She announced that Admiral did not have station wagons but busses with 17 seats that were more appropriate for specific narrow one-way streets of Herceg Novi contrary to the buses of Autosaobracaj that provoked stoppages. "Proprietor of Autosaobracaj convinces citizens that it is the best for the to be transport according to #European# standards in buses with 25 places for sitting and 30 places for standing. He is actually protecting his personal interests and he is forgetting about the citizens", estimated Vujovic. She denied that Admiral was not paying its duties to the state and she explained that the firm was registered for carrying out the transports of passengers in highway traffic and it had necessary permit of Ministry of traffic and Secretariat for economy of municipal assembly of Herceg Novi. "We are regularly paying all our turnover tax and duties towards our workers, insurances and it can be easily checked in the Agency Benkom that is taking care of our books but also from numerous reports of different inspections that confirms regular working of Admiral", claims Vujovic.
