Representatives of tourist Association of tourist agencies of Budva asked from the competent Ministry to reduce the competencies of the tourist inspection that should initiate working by the end of May due to the fact that their competencies coincide to the activities of other inspection services. "The draft of the law enables for the tourist inspection to close the agency for uncertain period of time immediately after the control has been finished. The fact that competencies of this inspection coincide to the competencies of working, public utility and sanitary inspections causes problems for agencies", said member of the Association of tourist agencies of Budva Bojan Gojkovic at the dispute on the draft of the Law on tourism held today in hotel "Crna Gora". He said that it was absurd the fees for poor hotel services to be number of times higher for agencies then for hotel keepers and he added that licenses for work should not be introduce since those licenses were not obligatory in number of other spheres. They asked regulation of procedure of registering the tourists on border crossings and airports, regulation of transport services, public peace and order in line with Frankfurt list as well as guarantees in case of overbooked hotels. Representatives of Institute "Dr Simo Milosevic" proposed a special status for health tourism since they considered Montenegro had exceptional geographical and natural factors for its development. Minister of tourism Predrag Nenzic said that on Thursday there would be a meeting held with representatives of tourist agencies and tourist operators in regard to stimulating measures predicted by new laws.
