As of Monday 0.9 percents for conversion

As of Monday 0.9 percents for conversion
General Clearing House of the Central Bank of Montenegro would begin charging of the commission rate of 0.9 percents for all amounts of German marks that citizens intend to convert into Euro, said president of the Council of the Central Bank, Ljubisa Krgovic. Explaining this decision of the CBCG, Krgovic said that the commission rate would be adjusted with the one charged in Serbia. Krgovic claims that business banks and affiliations of the General Clearing House have not reported any suspicious transaction so far, nor any attempt of conversion of false money. Dual currency system in Montenegro would end on Sunday, which means that the only means of payment in shops would be Euro. It has been stated that the General Clearing House would accept daily income in DEM until Tuesday, April 2 that the shops had until April 1. After the dual currency period expires, business banks would convert German marks no longer - it would be done exclusively through the General Clearing House and only for Montenegrin citizens and the commission rate would be charged for that. Other currencies, that have been valid in Euroland states until recently, would not be converted either in business banks or in the Central Bank of Montenegro.
