Niksic (MINA-BUSINESS) – The beer production at the Trebjesa brewery did not resume on Monday, although 350 workers came back to work, the management said. The management also said that in the course of the day it would start sacking workers who refused to resume work, in line with the labour law. The Trebjesa trade union said, however, that around 100 workers gathered in front of the factory gates this morning and decided to continue the strike. Chairman of the brewery#s trade union Bozidar Perovic said that the management#s threat to sack workers who refused to go back to work represented intimidation. "The trade union remains open for negotiations. The management has closed the factory by refusing to sign the collective agreement and they are the only ones who can reopen it," Perovic told Mina-business.
