Testing production of high quality pasteurized UHT milk of new Berane diary store will start in July this year, and beginning from August it will work with full capacities, was announced at today#s presentation of marketing campaign of this project. Berane diary store is part of project for development of dairy industry in northeast Montenegro called Mednem realized by the Governments of Luxemburg and Montenegro. "In July we shall start with the trail production of pasteurized milk and beginning from August we plan to work with full capacity and it means producing of 40 liters milk a day", said coordinator of the project Tom Hodge. Minster of agriculture Milutin Simovic said that the diary store would have five purchase places in northeast of Montenegro and it would provide security of purchase and big number of new working positions. He added that high-quality pasteurized UHT milk of Berane dairy store would be intended both for domestic and foreign market. "Montenegro will for the first time be producing UHT milk and it would significantly reduce its import and casting of money out of the country. It is also to be rpoduced for export", said Simovic. According to him, the dairy store would through this project obtain technical help for milk processing, equipment, training of farmers and veterinarians who aim to produce hygienically healthy products.
