As Montena- business is informed, Telekom of Montenegro would soon improve telephone lines between Monet and ProMonte with construction of the special connection for these two operators. Establishing of connections between these two operators was made difficult in the last two years and it is possible only after several attempts. Telekom would dismantle the transit central, which is of an older generation and which causes the problem. "The transit central is old and it is not possible to renew it, so it would be dismantled," stated Telekom. Telephone communication between the two mobile operators and fixed network is done through Mobile central of ProMonte and transit central, while Monet has a special beam for communication towards ProMonte. A special connection Monet-ProMonte was ordered for solution of this difficult communication, through the present International central, which would be expanded from 270 to 360 flexes. In that way, the freeing of 270 of ProMonte#s flexes towards fixed network would be possible. Telekom also stated that beside this problem, the difficult communication between ProMonte and Monet was induced by constant increase of the extent of communications and inadequate number of flexes towards Serbia and foreign states. The installation of the new International central is underway, which is of the capacity of over 11,000 flexes. The expansion of the existing International central for more than 4,000 flexes was recently done, and it should take over the function of the transit central. Telekom also works on the quality of communications within Montenegro and with Serbia and foreign states, and the expansion of the number of flexes with international centrals in Belgrade and Banja Luka is underway. The expansion of the number of flexes with transit centrals in Serbia and Republic of Srpska is underway too, as well as the reconfiguration of the international connections with Croatia.
