Working group of trade union of highway traffic has united today the draft of its Decree on public transport of passenger on established routes and sub-legal act of the competent Ministry on inspection control that it will direct to Montenegrin Government. "Together with Ministry representatives we have made proposal of the Decree on the joint inspection control and technical conditions for means of transport that could be used for regular transport of passengers on established routes in highway traffic", said president of branch trade union Miodrag Bualtovic. HE said that it was precisely defined by the Decree that the vehicle used for regular transport of passengers on established routes in highway traffic had to have at least 25 seats and two doors. According to the Law on highway traffic and municipal acts, public transport of passengers on established routes may be carried out only by buses, that is, vehicles that had at least ten seats. Transporters estimated earlier that station wagons should not be allowed to participate at his kind of transport. "In special occasions decree allows transport of passenger on inter-city routes by suburban buses on distances up to 50 and on city route up to 15 km. Other vehicles are allowed inter-city transport only on routes that are not profitable or technically suitable for busses", explained Bulatovic Dissatisfied with engagement of Ministry of traffic and maritime in defining of this sub-legal act, trade union of traffic was announcing general strike during last 30 days. Decree proposed by Ministry of traffic precisely defined joint inspection control of all the competent services involved in stopping gray economy in the sphere of traffic. Together with Board of traffic association of Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro Trade union proposed special decree that would allow only special kinds of vehicles for transport of passengers on established routes with the aim of eliminating station wagon taxes from this sphere of traffic.
