Podgorica, (Montena-business) - By the end of this year, the Croatian Chamber of Trade (HGK) will open its representative office in Kotor, in order to improve cooperation with companies and business associations from Montenegro, the HGK announced.
Director of the sector for states of former Yugoslavia in the HGK, Mr. Goran Masnec, told Montena-business that the HGK also planned to open its offices in Subotica (Serbia), reminding that the HGK opened its office in Belgrade yesterday.
"At the moment, it is difficult to set up the exact date of opening the office in Kotor, but I think it would happen till the end of this year. We still haven#t found the staff and premises for the office" said Mr. Masnec.
He said that the HGK also prepared a presentation called #How to make business with foreign countries#, which would soon be organized in Montenegro.
"The purpose of this presentation is to inform Montenegrin businessmen about conditions of making business and legal procedures in Croatia," explained Mr. Masnec.
The Chamber of Trade of Montenegro (PKCG) stated it was interested in cooperation with Croatian colleagues, even though there had been no official request from that country.
"There was some interest for cooperation between Montenegrin and Croatian companies in the field of traffic and civil engineering, but we have no precise information on the number of representative offices of Croatian companies in Montenegro, or about Montenegrin companies interested in presentation on Croatian market" states the PKCG informative office.
PKCG claims that all attempts of cooperation as regards the transport of passengers between two countries have not been realized due to high protective taxes and road tolls of Croatia.
