Center for transition proposed to the Government`s Agency for anticorruption the National System of Integrity (NSI) as a program for struggle against corruption.
Director of the Centre, Nebojsa Medojevic confirmed for Montena-business that Center for transition was agreeing the cooperation with the Government`s Agency for anticorruption and that it proposed the strategy of activities.
"The system is made with the purpose to return the trust of citizens into system institutions and it is applied in all states that passed through dramatic disorders in development. Program of CT includes the change of the system and not discrediting and accusing of individuals," said Medojevic.
Within NSI the foundation of `watchdog` agencies is proposed, participation of public in democratic processes, focusing the attention of public on the role of civil society, transparency and measurability of the effects of judicial activities, participation of media, private sector and international business and international cooperation.
According to the plan of CT it is necessary to form the National Committee for introduction of NSI, which would be initiated by the president of the Republic, in line with his constitutional competences.
"The structure of the Committee should represent public and not political parties, and this body would pass all documents such as national strategy for the struggle against corruption, project of realization of NSI, plan of the public campaign, etc," said Medojevic and added that presence of international organizations was compulsory in these activities.
