Workers of Niksic Brewery "Trebjesa" will on Monday decide if they are to go on general strike if the management of the company officially rejects their demand for increasing the salaries by 30%, Montena-business was informed by the trade union. It is claimed from the trade union that the unofficial poll on general strike, conducted in brewery last week, showed that most of the employed was supporting the demand of this organization. Management of the firm earlier informed workers that it was ready to increase the salaries by 18% and estimated that increasing the salaries by higher percentage then this was unacceptable. As a result, signing of the collective contract that has not been changed since 1997, when the Belgium company #Interbrew# became a major proprietor, will not be signed.
