Podgorica (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Montenegrin carrier Montenegro Airlines ended 2001 with a loss of 2.8 million euros, 17 percent more than in 2000, according to the figures provided by the Accounting and Payment Operations Office (ZOP) of the Central Bank of Montenegro. The management of the company says the loss is ten times less than the official one and was around 210,000 euros. According to ZOP report, Montenegro Airlines is among the republic#s top ten loss-makers with a total of 8.6 million euros in losses accumulated since the establishment of the company.
