Plan of economic policy passed today by the Government predicts increase of domestic product of Montenegro by 5% comparing to last year and it should amount to 1,85 milliard DM. “Last year’s domestic product of Montenegro amounted to over 1,61 milliard DM and it was a little lower then planned due to objective reasons. Increase of 5% during the current year is possible with reform laws that would create favorable economic ambient, more intensive combating the gray economy as well as new way of computing a domestic product”, said secretary of Secretary for development Dusan Simonovic after the session. He added that the ministries in charge finished the Plan of economic policy for this year in cooperation with University, Chamber of Commerce and Trade Union. He said that the Government asked from the Employment office for analyze on unemployment in Montenegro during last year, as well as on combating the gray economy by the competent state institutions.
