Workers of the Factory of light and protective clothing renounced their protest in front of the building of the Municipality of Niksic after mayor, Milorad Drljevic, promised that he would try in his contacts with Government’s representatives to provide money for payment of due wages. “Mayor Drljevic told us that the Municipality would, if necessary, loan the money from the Government in order to pay our due wages. The loan would be repaid after sale of the joint ground of our factory and Koni garment industry,” said one of the workers of this company for Montena-business. In case these requests were not fulfilled, workers would continue their protests in front of the Government’s building in Podgorica. Workers of the Factory of light and protective clothing, apart from payment of 24 minimal wages, request the payment of winter allowance and holiday pay.
