According to the survey of the National Democratic Institute (NDI), economic situation, unemployment and revitalization of industry are the most important issues for 47 percents of polled Montenegrin voters that determine their political choice. The poll carried out by the agency #Prizma survey# for the NDI, in the period of January 31 till February 5, was based on the sample of more than 1,200 pollees from all municipalities of Montenegro. The report states that passing of anticorruption laws was the most important activity in introduction of market economy for 33 percents of pollees; privatisation for 21 percent and laws enhancing foreign investments for 18 percents. NDI states that support to the Government has not been significantly changed in spite of the restrictions introduced three months ago and numerous strikes, and that 54 percents of pollees still have confidence in it. About 41 percents of pollees thinks that the Government is responsible for the shortage of electricity, while 32 percents are satisfied with its efforts to solve the problem in electricity supply. Twenty-seven percents of pollees consider the Electric-power industry accountable for the situation in electricity supplies, 16 percents of them think that it is the Aluminium Complex in Podgorica, while nine percents think that citizens are responsible for it, because they caused restriction with uncontrolled consumption. The results show that 63 percents of citizens support the strikes and 58 percents think that protests of workers in education are justified.
