The Government of Montenegro decided to emit state securities worth 10 million DEM in order to provide the source for repair of the overall solvency of the budget. The Government passed that decision in order to provide means for traversing the time difference between income and expenditures of the Republic budget for this year. The state securities would be issued monthly from September on, in dematerialised form, that is, in notes of 1,000 DEM and all individuals and companies have the right to buy them. The Government also granted the construction of the elementary school in the suburb Zlatica - Murtovina in Podgorica, for which the means would be provided from the aid of European Commission - 3 million DEM. It was also decided to give intervention aid for reparation of damages made in great fire in August 12 and 13 at the territory of the municipality of Budva. Ministry of internal affairs and Ministry of justice would make a detailed analysis on functioning and situation in municipal services and fire squads. These two ministries would then propose to the Government the program of measures to be taken in order to improve the fire protection in municipalities and in the Republic. The Government of Montenegro also discussed and accepted the report on activities of the company National parks of Montenegro for the year 2000.
