Euro Info Center is to be opened in Podgorica till mid of April in Podgorica. It is necessary to provide premises and equipment for work of this Center, was announced form the European agency for reconstruction (EAR). According to manager for public relations of EAR Dragan Mugosa, expert-technical help in establishing of EIC will be provided by the Consortium run by West Midlands Enterprises from Great Britain, on the basis of the contract signed recently with the Agency. It is announced from EAR that the contract is 765 thousands of Euros worth and it is part of the programme on support of development of small and medium enterprises. It has been set aside 4,2 million EUR for this project. Goal of establishing the EIC is providing of information on firms in the European union and on their business policy. These information should help in development of small and medium enterprises in Montenegro, was announced from EAR. EIC will be in charge of forming database that would contain offers for cooperation of the Montenegrin small and medium firms with European companies and to distribute them through the network of 300 of these centers in more then 38 countries. It was announced that EIC would organize the trade mission, educational seminars and training of small and medium firms in the sphere of marketing, business negotiating in the international surrounding and usage of internet in the international trade. Consortium would prepare detail two-year#s business plan of EIC, it would appoint directors and train them, get the necessary equipment and provide support in connecting with the other centers in Europe. EAR reminded to the project of credit lines worth three million EUR and providing of expert-technical help to institutional development of the Agency for development of small and medium firms.
