Ljubljana (MINA-BUSINESS) - A two-day conference grouping ministers of central and southeast European countries and representatives of the European Union opened in Ljubljana on Monday to discuss economic and political development in the region, the information secretariat said. The conference will discuss societies and economies based on knowledge, computer infrastructure and security policies of new technologies at local levels. The Montenegrin delegation is headed by former deputy prime minister Branimir Gvozdenovic. Montenegro and Slovenia agreed to hold a conference, tentatively scheduled for October, on establishing economic cooperation through presentations, round tables and expert teams and technical aid.
