Ministry of tourism will accept most of objections representatives of tourist agencies have on the draft of the law on tourism and they are to be made part of the law text, was announced by secretary of the Ministry in charge Lav Lajovic.
"Agencies have presented their objections substantiated by facts at today#s meeting. Most of those objections will be accepted and in regard to regulating of foreign transporters, guarantees, overbooking, fees regulations and definition of items in tourism", said Lajovic for Mina-business.
According to him, request of agencies only Montenegrin transporters to transport passengers will be accepted since such regulations already existed in neighboring countries. This regulation would not include transport on established routes and transfer of passengers.
According to the new law agencies have to insure tourist arrangements by a policy, bank guarantee or by cash in case program of traveling is not completely realized.
He explained that part of the law that spoke of higher fees four tourist agencies then for hotels in case the client was not satisfied with accommodation and services was technical mistake and it would be corrected.
Lajovic announced that Ministry would correct the text of the Law and then they would forward it for consideration to the Government.
Meeting in Budva represented termination of public discussion on the draft of the Law on tourism.
