Every fifth shop in Budva in which tax cash registers have been introduced in the last year, has been penalized because of avoiding of the use of cash registers, stated the Municipal office of the Financial police. The minimal penalty for offences of this kind is 900 DEM, because companies that avoid the use of cash registers are to pay 10 - 100 minimal wages and responsible persons 3 to 10 minimal wages. Since last March, tax cash registers have been introduced in 550 shops in Budva. Bigger companies mostly use them, while smaller ones try to avoid the registering of their turnover.
