February pensions 3.4 percents higher

February pensions 3.4 percents higher
February pensions would be 3.4 percents higher than those in January, and the payment of the first part of 60 percents of the total sum would begin tomorrow at noon, stated the Fund for pension and invalid insurance (PIO). The average February pension would be 104.13 EUR. The Fund reminded that January pensions have not been reduced for 5.05 percents, in line with statistical data, but were paid at the level of December in order to protect the life standard of 36,000 pensioners. "Average net wage in Montenegro in February was 11.57 EUR or 8.9 percents more than in January, so legal conditions for raise of pensions have been fulfilled. Since the amount of 5.05 percents was included in the January raise, and total increase for February is 8.9 percents, February pensions would be 3.4 percents higher," explained the PIO Fund. For payment of February pensions, the Fund would need 11.5 million EUR, or 320,000 more than last month.
