Budva (MINA-BUSINESS) – Slovenian carrier Adria Airways will introduce on Monday an additional flight from Ljubljana to Podgorica, bringing the total number of flights on the route to five a week, director of the Montenegrin Tourist Organisation Predrag Jelusic said. Adria Airways and Montenegrin carrier Montenegro Airlines have so far serviced the route twice a week each. The new flight on Mondays was expected to help transport more Slovenian tourists. Most of the tourists are expected to come from the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovenia, Jelusic said. Around 160 Russian tourists arrived on a charter flight on Saturday to spend holidays on the Budva and Herceg Novi Riviera. Early in May, first groups of Slovenians are expected to arrive and first arrivals of Germans are scheduled for mid-May. The Tourist Organisation expects around 10,000 foreign tourists this summer or ten percent more than in 2001.
