Funds want to invest into companies not on MVP list
Podgorica, (Montena-business) - Privatisation fund MIG requested today from the Commission for securities to enable the funds to invest into companies that were not on the list for Mass voucher privatisation. Director of the MIG, Dragan Radusinovic, said that alteration of the Regulation on privatisation funds, as well as alteration of sub-law documents that regulate their activities, was requested at today#s meeting of representatives of the funds and the Commission. "MIG is of the opinion that this Regulation needs amending in order to make possible for the funds to invest into companies that have not been privatised by MVP. I expect the Commission to accept that proposal," said Radusinovic. Director of HLT fund, Zarko Djurisic, had no significant remarks on the Regulation that, as he said, was made on the experience of other states in transition. Representatives of the funds announced that at the meeting scheduled for Friday, February 15, all remarks on the Regulation would be identified and directed to the Commission for securities, which would then be discussed by the Council for privatisation.
