Herceg Novi (MINA-BUSINESS) - The inflow of drinking water from Konavle in Croatia, to Herceg Novi in Montenegro can be halted early in June if the entire accumulated debt of 980,000 euros is not paid by then, the mayor of Konavle Luka Korda said on Wednesday. Herceg Novi receives around 300 litres of water per second from Konavle. The transport of one cubic metre of water is 11 cents. The Herceg Novi water supply company says its debt to the Croatian water supplier is only 239,000 euros, since the Herceg Novi municipality claims ownership over the water pipeline.
