Herceg Novi (MINA-BUSINESS) - The owner of Igalopromet company has filed criminal charges against the management and the head of the Herceg Novi waterworks Zoran Sabanovic because they refused to connect water from the Mojdez water source to the city water supply system. Ivo Matijasevic accused them of negligence in their work because they rejected Igalopromet#s request to connect 50 litres of water per minute to supply the town. Igalopromet has concessions for exploitation of the Mojdez water source. Matijasevic said members of the board of directors and Sabanovic had not protected the interests of the citizens, had deprived them of their right to water and damaged Igalopromet for some 100,000 euros. On Monday, at a meeting devoted to water supply, councillors of Herceg Novi municipality refused to connect the Mojdez water source to the town#s water supply system.
