The Post of Montenegro in cooperation with the Western Union had more than 100,000 DEM of payments from abroad since September 5, when it began working. “Of the total of 44 locations that we included for these activities, 17 of them have already had payments worth 100,000 DEM for the citizens of Montenegro,” said project manager, Nebojsa Milacic. He could not say when the citizens of Montenegro could send their money abroad, since for that the change in regulations passed by the Central Bank is necessary. Electronic transfer of money from abroad, in cooperation with Western Union is done with 185 states at the moment, and payments can be taken over in post offices of the Post of Montenegro, only in DEM by the exchange rate that is daily adjusted in Denver. It is not necessary to open an account at the Post for taking over the money, but only to fill in the simple form with information on the sender and receiver. In this way the Post enables its users the best possible payments in foreign currency from abroad, which can be collected within ten minutes from the moment of payment.
