Coalmine in Pljevlja should this year produce over 1,4 million tons of coal or by 25% more then during last 12 months, said president of managerial board of that firm Bozo Mihailovic. After the session, Bozovic told journalists that the production plan adopted today predicted 3,8 million of cubic meters of material to barren soil from strip mine. According to him approximately 95% of the total coal production, or over 1,4 million tons will be delivered to Steam power plant Pljevlja and the rest of about three million EUR to big industrial consumers, heating plants and citizens.
