Podgorica (MINA-BUSINESS) – Inspections of the safety of ships carrying tourists will be stepped up during the summer season, representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Shipping, port authorities of Kotor and Bar, Navar private enterprise from Tivat and public enterprise Plovput from Bar agreed on Thursday. Assistant minister Luka Badnjar urged owners of tourist boats to observe rules on boat safety and conduct regular and extraordinary inspections of their boats. Around 50 boats traditionally transport tourists on a daily basis during the summer season.
