Japanese responsible for any ecological damage in future
Japanese company Daido Metal that bought the Bearings Industry from Kotor, has taken upon itself the responsibility for all ecological damage in future, stated the Kotor#s company. General director of the company, Pavle Stanacev, said for Montena-business that in line with the contract signed, Japanese would respect the ecological norms of the international standard ISO 14000. This international standard is one of the most prominent in the world and it defines the attitude of the company towards the surroundings, that is, it assists companies in reduction of negative effects on vial environment. "Daido metal would take over the responsibility only for future damage, while all those that had been made before the contract was signed must be repaired by the Bearings Industry. That is why the assessments of ecological situation in the factory surroundings are underway, so they would know what they are taking over," said Stanacev. He explained that they were also making an annexe of the contract that had been signed with Daido on January 17, which would relate only to corrections of typing mistakes in the document. "The provisions that relate to responsibility for repair of consequences of ecological damage do not endanger the realization of contract with the Japanese company," claims Stanacev. Daido Metal bought 29,98 percents of shares of the Bearings Industry, with possibility for investing additional capital of 21 percents, which would make it the major owner of the company in Kotor.
