Financial plan of the Central Bank of Montenegro includes the budget of 1 to 1.5 million DEM for the program of conversion said president of the Council of the Central Bank, Ljubisa Krgovic, for Montena-business. He said that the expenditure of the Central Bank of Montenegro for conversion consisted of commission rates and expenses of insurance and transport. "These three elements are not separated in the offers of the business banks, but dominant expenses are the expenses of transport, particularly coins, and they depend on the amount of money for conversion," said Krgovic. When asked why the money was not converted in the European Central Bank, but in commercial banks, Krgovic said that ECB supplied only the central banks of the Euroland and that regulations stated that other central banks were to be supplied from the business banks.
