Adriatic shipyard from Bijela realized the total income of over 30 million DM last year and it is by 67% more then last year and almost by 30% over the plan, has been announced at today#s press conference.
"Realized profit is minimal since the total expenses of the firm were almost equal to incomes", said general director of the firm Stanko Zlokovic who did not want to state precisely the amount of financial result.
During the last year 62 ships were repaired in Shipyard where 55 were foreign it means that one ship was sailing into the port for repairs every sixth day.
It was also announced that the employed in the firm were currently repairing seven ships and till the end of April five more ships would sail into.
Average January salary was 668 DM and Shipyard tended to increase them as well as to maintain standard of quality and property transformation. Average salary in the first half of last year was 486 DM.
Zlokovic denied claims of the employed in Jugoocenaija from Kotor that they paid their debt to shipyard and he explained that it amounted approximately 3,6 million dollars with interest rate.
"Jugoocenaija owes 3,1 million USD to Shipyard with the agreed annual interest rate of 14,5%", he said.
According to him, the debt was made by re-emitting of ships Zeta, Durmitor, Kordun, Kosmaj, Tivat, Risan, Orjen, Novi, Pelinovo, Lovcen, Sara, Grand carrier and Grand Mariner in period from 1997 until now.
