The Central Depositary Agency (CDA) has not united the old and new lists of shareholders for 13 companies that participated in the mass voucher privatisation, because they did not submit the necessary data.
The Commission for securities and CDA state that these companies should have submitted the data on old and new shareholders until today, so CDA would unite them. According to the regulations of the modified Regualtion on acquiring and use of vouchers, after completion of this procedure, the CDA directs the new lists to companies, which are to present these lists on their notice boards.
"The data of four companies have not been submitted, while lists of nine are being adjusted because they do not agree with information that the Commission for securities and CDA have," said Zoran Djikanovic, vice-president of the Commission.
Deputy director of CDA, Miomir Jovanovic, said that this institution began dispatching of new lists of shareholders to companies that have submitted their information and owners of the companies would thus be informed with the number of shares they own.
Citizens that received the shares in companies that have already been registered and whose lists have been united, became their legal owners, which is as of today, they have the right to buy and sell the shares at one of two stock exchanges.
