Podgorica, (Montena-business)- “The third phase of MVP will not be prolonged, because 65% of citizens of Montenegro took part in this process and there is no need to prolong it” said Milka Lukic, an expert of the Barents group.
Lukic expects that by the end of the auction the number of participants in MVP among the citizens will be increased by 10%, so that is not necessary to prolong this phase of MVP.
The information given by the Bureau for payment says that by the beginning of the auction until Saturday, about 130.000 of citizens haven’t used their voucher points, which was the reason for Nebojsa Medojevic, the director of the Centre for Transition, today to ask for a prolonging of this phase of the MVP.
Yesterday, more than 1,2 billion of voucher points was transferred to the privatisation funds. To the HLT fund 415 million voucher points, to the Euro fond 260, to the Atlas Mont fund 197, the Trend fund 180, to the Moneta 140 and to the Mig 103 million voucher points.
More than 63.000 of citizens transferred above 311 million of voucher points to their family members.
221 Montenegrin companies on the list of MVP got about 142 million of voucher points. The most number of points got Telekom with about 23 million, then Plantaze with more than 9 million, Jadransko brodogradiliste Bijela got 8,9 million, the Steel Miners 8 million and Luka Bar 7,9 million voucher points.
