Majority of schools in Montenegro continued their work
General strike of majority of employees in education in Montenegro, that began 40 days ago continued today with shortening of classes to 25 minutes. Only eight schools did not abide by that decision. At today#s meeting of the Board of strike of the Union, it was concluded that the strike should be continued until all requests were fulfilled, in line with the decision of the General Union of education. Members of the Board suggested to expert teams working on foundation of the residential fund and search of the possibility for increase of coefficients to start the activities that would contribute to realization of the main requests of the employees in education on strike. Ministry of education stated today that classes were organized in more than 96 percents of schools, and that one part of them organized shortened classes. "The remaining eight schools that did not work today announced they would begin to work tomorrow, after conclusion of the meetings where they would discuss this issue," stated the Ministry in its proclamation. This information was not confirmed by the Board of strike, whose members announced that they would present the results of the strike tomorrow at noon, after meetings of the municipal organizations of the Union.
