Niksic (MINA-BUSINESS) - The management of the Trebjesa brewery invited on Thursday trade unions of the company and the republic for further talks and arbitration. The management said in a statement that it really wanted to sign a collective agreement which protects the rights of all employees to be signed and to serve their personal and family interests, interests of the brewery, the shareholders, the Niksic municipality and Montenegro. It said that the agreement offered by the management was a package arrangement which is the maximum the brewery could offer and called on the trade union to say exactly what rights the workers were deprived of in their offer. They said the agreement stipulates an automatic annual wage increase indexed with the cost of living increase, has a system of bonuses, and has increased contributions from the workers# gross salary for housing loans, holidays and rehabilitation. It said that an arbitrage commission comprising representatives of the management, Interbrew, the Alliance of Independent Trade Unions of Montenegro and the brewery#s trade union had already been formed but that the brewery#s representative had left the commission without any reason.
