Kotor, (Montena-business)- Foundation of the Maritime Centre in Kotor would be the first step to revitalisation of Montenegrin seamanship, said Andrija Bilafer, a member of the Association of Sailors. At it#s meeting on Wednesday, the revision commission for creation of an Urban Plan suggested that the Maritime Centre should have been located in the commercial office-centre called Skaljari. "In the Centre it will be founded a national Agency for employing sailors with support of the Ministry of Maritime and Traffic, and a bank that would offer services to sailors, shipyards and ports" said Bilafer. "Kotor is the only town which has preconditions such as maritime traditions, education and institutions, for founding the Maritime Centre" ended Bilafer. bk
