Ministry Accepted to Expand the List of Goods for Market Sales
Podgorica, (Montena – business) – The Ministry of Trade will suggest to the Montenegrin Government to change article number 1 of the regulation that defines which goods could be sold at the markets, it was agreed at today’s meeting of market merchants’ representatives and Mr Ivan Raicevic, the Minister of Trade. The agreement is that the Ministry will propose this change at the Government’s next meeting, and according to the changed article it will not be allowed to trade with excise goods, food products, white technique apparatus and thermal cosmetics. According to Mr Vojo Drobnjak, secretary of the Association of Market Merchants, at the meeting it was also agreed that the market merchants get a legal working status. “According to the Book of regulations on minimal criteria for registration of the counters as independent trade objects, which these days was published in the Official Paper, the merchants will be able to get a legal working status by registering their counters” said Drobnjak. He said that the period for registering counters was 60 days from the day of official start of using the Book of Regulations. . He said that the Direction of Public Incomes should decide which category of tax objects the market merchants would belong to. km/bd
