Money exchange commission from 1.5 to 4 per cent
Podgorica, September 5 (Montena-business) - Due to the limited amount of foreign currency notes that it has, the Central Bank did not adopt a Regulation by which the Post of Montenegro would be in a position to enable citizens to send money to 185 countries from which they would also be able to receive money. "The Post of Montenegro will exchange money for the commission of 1.5 per cent for USD, 2 per cent for liras and francs and four per cent for other currencies", said a project manager, Nebojsa Milacic. He said there were commissions that are used all over the world and depend on the amount of money that is sent, for the money sent via Western - Union. Up to DEM 100, the commission is DEM 26 and is getting higher with the amount of money so that for the transfer of four or five thousand DEM the commission might go up to DEM 200, said Milacic. Above this figure the price of transfer gets higher for 40 DEM for every thousand DEM.
