Montenegrin Railways posted 2.5 million euro loss in 2001
Podgorica (MINA-BUSINESS) - The public railway company Zeljeznice Crne Gore ended 2001 with a loss of 2.53 million euros or a half of the 2000 loss, the Accounting and Payment Operations Office (ZOP) of the Central Bank of Montenegro said. Total accumulated losses of the company in the past years have grown to 20.16 million euros. Director at the Zeljeznice Radomir Jankovic said the loss resulted from low capacity utilisation, which could not rise without fresh investments.
