Montenegro Airlines tells JAT to leave Montenegro
Podgorica (MINA-BUSINESS) - The Yugoslav airlines Jugoslovenski Aerotransport (JAT) ought to leave Montenegro, which already has its national airlines, director of the Montenegro Airlines Zoran Djurisic said, Montenegrin media reported. Djurisic said relations between Montenegro Airlines and JAT were one of "sore spots of Montenegro". Prices paid by the Montenegrin official carrier for the route to Tivat, determined by JAT, were considered to be too high, he said. "We are paying more than 1,200 euros for airport services and the Montenegrin government needs to react, because they are the only ones who can protect us," Djurisic said. Djurisic said Montenegro Airlines was capable to immediately take over business activities in Montenegro from JAT.
