Podgorica (MINA-BUSINESS) – Merging the two Montenegrin stock exchanges is the priority for Montenegro to develop its capital market, the managing board of the Montenegro Stock Exchange said on Monday. "A high level of turnover at the Montenegro Stock Exchange, resulting from a high level of confidence in this institution, and the perspectives of the NEX bourse, could lead to the merger of the two markets, benefiting both." Between January 1 and May 22, the total turnover at the Montenegro Stock Exchange reached 4.9 million euros, making the Montenegro bourse the leader on the local market.
