"Preparations for forthcoming summer season in Montenegro have begun in October, in order to correct the omissions made in the last season, said minister of tourism, Predrag Nenezic, in Slovenian fair Alpe Adria.
"Montenegro is a tolerant and safe country, and every guest that visits it can feel safe. We plan to introduce tourist inspections until summer, which would give additional protection to guests," said Nenezic at yesterday#s press conference in Ljubljana.
He informed the journalists that no visa was needed for Montenegro and added that he expected the signing of an inter-bureau agreement on car insurance with Slovenia soon.
"I hope that other Slovenian partner, just as it has been with HIT, would be interested in investing into Montenegrin tourism," said Nenezic.
Director of the Tourist Organization, Predrag Jelusic, said that Montenegro allotted 450,000 EUR for marketing campaign.
"Montenegrin hoteliers kept the prices at the last year#s level, and conversion to the new European currency has made them even lower. The target of the new marketing concept is to present Montenegro just as it really is," said Jelusic.
