Increase of last year#s goods exchange and tourist circulation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro will result in intensifying cooperation between these two countries, was concluded at presentation of Bosnian fairs and congresses held in Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (CCM). "We expect goods exchange between Montenegro and Bosnia to intensify, which was 21 million USD for ten months of last year. During that period Montenegro exported goods worth 13 million DM to Bosnia", said director of sector for relations with abroad in CCM Velisa Nenezic. It was estimated at presentation that economic cooperation between these two countries was significantly improved and that it was expected to continue improving. Nenzic said that Bosnian tourists had 218 thousand overnights during first nine months of last year and it is 6 times more then in 1996. Representatives of Bosnian association Promo International that organized today#s promotion in cooperation with Canton Chamber of commerce (CPC) of Tuzla, expect Montenegrin businessmen to be interested in summer International fair #Promo# held in Tuzla. Apart from this manifestation they also recommended to representatives of Montenegrin firms to attend conference in Mostar called "How to invest in Montenegro" and fair of Bosnian Herzegovina economy held in the FRY. "All the important obstacles in cooperation between Montenegro and BiH have been removed since trade and diplomatic relations have been established. Transferring of goods cross border was liberalized by signing the agreement on free trade and it also enabled undisturbed trade", considers Dervis Alic, secretary of CPC of Tuzla. He estimated that economic associations of these two countries should provide more space for free trade abroad, adding that foundation of companies with joint ownership should be supported.
