Mr Raicevic: Regulation On Selling Goods At The Markets Is Only A Transitory Solution
Podgorica, (Montena-business) - "The modified Regulation On Selling Goods at Markets, passed at the last Government#s meeting, is only a transitory solution which will be valid until the Law on Trade was passed" said Mr Ivan Raicevic, minister of trade. According to the minister, the Regulation is fully adjusted with the laws applied in the neighbouring countries, which means that the sale of excise goods and food, large household technical utensils and cosmetics unstable at high temperatures would not be permitted. Mr Raicevic told Montena-business that the Regulation would enter into force eight days from the day it was published in the official gazette of the Republic of Montenegro. "Passing of this Regulation, which incorporates the Rule Book on selling goods at the open markets, which was published in the first issue of the Official Gazette in 2002, enables legalization of the sale of goods at the open markets. In case these rules were broken, it would result in confiscation of goods, mandatory and violation penalties," said Mr Raicevic. "The market sellers have a sixty-days term, from the day the Regulation enters into force, to solve their working and legal status by registering an additional activity or independent trade shop" claims Mr Raicevic. "The Regulation and the Book on Rules will be valid until the new Law on Trade is passed. We expect that this new law would regulate this sphere in a more quality way, and that it would be in use by the end of this year" said Mr Raicevic. af
