Podgorica, (Montena – business) – Negotiations between market sellers and the Minister of Trade, Ivan Raicevic, that should have been held today, were delayed because of the Minister’s health problems and it is uncertain if they are going to be continued.
According to the Secretary of the Market Sellers’ Association, Vojo Drobnjak, after the last meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Trade, it was agreed that next negotiations should be held today, but as the Minister hasn’t come at work today the negotiations were delayed.
At the last meeting the sellers were informed that the Government’s regulation, which determines the list of goods that can be sold at the markets, is not going to be cancelled or expanded.
The market sellers demand expansion of the list of goods that are allowed to be sold at the temporary markets; regulation of their working status and a flat rate tax regime for solving the problem of their social and health insurance.
Drobnjak claims that the market sellers for sure will not change their demands; reminding that in the middle of December they agreed with the Minister that the market counters could be registered as independent trade objects. According to this agreement, excise goods and easy damageable food articles, and white technical apparatus cannot be sold at these trade objects. In all other sale objects it could be sold only those goods, which are defined by the Government’s regulation.
